ATP.Academy welcomes international students seeking high-quality pilot training and assists in navigating the U.S. visa process.
For students joining ATP.Academy programs, an M-1 visa is offered. The M-1 visa is a non-immigrant visa specifically designed for individuals pursuing vocational or technical training in the United States.
The M-1 visa process allows foreign students to enroll in full-time, non-academic training programs in the U.S., including some of aviation trainings. ATP.Academy is authorized to issue the I-20 form, a crucial part of the M-1 visa application, which provides eligibility to apply through a U.S. embassy or consulate.
If your primary purpose for visiting the United States is to enroll in one of the programs offered by ATP.Academy, you must apply for and obtain an M-1 visa. However, if you are already in the United States on another type of visa or in any other legal status, you can enroll in our Academy for the short-term ATP-CTP course with your current status.
Students are responsible for all U.S. immigration-related fees and interview scheduling with the U.S. consulate.
We recommend beginning the visa application process as early as possible to ensure timely arrival for your training.
For the I-20 application for the ATP-CTP course, a $600 non-refundable processing fee is required, along with a 100% advance payment for the course, which is refundable.
Please note that ATP.Academy does not directly provide or sponsor student visas. SkyEagle Aviation Academy, of which ATP.Academy is a DBA name, serves as the official visa sponsor for international students.
After receiving I-20 form you should go to: https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html and click “pay I-901 fee”.
During the interview, a consular officer will ask questions related to your training program, plans in the U.S., and your intent to return to your home country after completing your course. They may also inquire about your financial situation to ensure you can support yourself while studying.
It is important to be clear, confident, and provide truthful responses. The officer’s goal is to verify that you meet all requirements for the M-1 visa and that you have a genuine intent to study in the U.S.

It is recommended to apply for your visa in your country of residence. However, you may be able to schedule an interview in another country if appointment availability allows.
If you make an error on your DS-160 form, you will need to complete a new application and submit the correct information before your visa interview.
You can contact ATP.Academy’s admissions team for guidance and assistance throughout the visa application process.
